Moving on..

Moving on..

Ive been hearing this sentence far too often, from everyone whom I know. It has started irritating me now. Its just become of those standard phrases that people use. When there is no other comforting phrase available. I was just thinking to myself, how does one really move on? Getting involved with other things, not thinking about what happened, meet other people, bring a change in attitude, thinking.etc.. There are many options. None of these appeal to me. After an intense experience that brings one’s life to a standstill, one takes a practical route and pushes the thought of that trauma somewhere in the past, some people brave it and learn to live with it, and some are indifferent to it. I feel that one can never forget those intense times.. It just takes a person to close His/Her eyes to relive those moments and it brings you back to where you are…

We live in a world where, emotions are momentary short lived…but we don’t realize that emotions don’t leave us ever. When people hold it against me that I have moved on…. I feel like saying…I wish I could… I might walk ahead but there is so much of me left behind and anyone who goes there will feel me… How can I believe in this fact about moving on.. I want to know it.. I am trying to find out…

I always thought i mattered to someone.
Never realising that it could be temporary.
I always believed I meant something to you
How wrong I was.
I nurtured an unknown hope in me only to realise I can be easily forgotten.
Just a thing of the past.
Its this realisation that breaks me..my hope ends here
I realise my reason of grief is dead.

illusions

From a distance I stare at something that I want badly,
It comes to me in pieces, do I own it, is it mine? or can it be mine?
I am not sure I can answer that
It is definitely not a mirage, I can see it clearly.
It is definitely not a dream, I am living it.
I can touch it, I can feel it.
The picture of you fades in and out in front of me..
I try to capture a image of you but in vain
